Identity Verification (KYC) (Optional)

To complete the identity verification and enjoy our platform's features, kindly prepare the following requirements: 

Step 1: Access the KYC Verification Page
  1. Log in to your BTZO account.
  2. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select "Verification" to go to the KYC verification section.
  4. By default, you'll land on the Individual Verification page.
  5. If you're a corporate user, click “Verify as Corporate” in the top-right corner to switch to corporate verification.
  6. You can switch to the individual verification process anytime by selecting “Verify as Individual”.
Step 2: Click Verify to Start the Identity Verification Process
  1. Personal information: Ensure that all details match exactly with those of your government-issued identity document (ID).
  2. Proof of Identity: The system will open a verification window for the next steps:
  3. Take a clear image of your government-issued photo ID (passport or national ID). Ensure that your ID photo is clear and that all information is visible.
  4. Record a video selfie. Ensure that your camera lens is clean and that you are in a well-lit room so your facial features are clearly visible.
  5. Follow the widget's prompts to retake any photos or videos if necessary.
  6. Our verification process typically takes less than 5 min to complete. If additional checks are required, we’ll notify you and follow up within 1-2 business days.
Step 3: Submit Proof of Address
  1. For the Level 2 verification process, you'll need to upload a proof of address document.
  2. Once your Level 1 submission has been approved, Click “Verify” to continue with the address verification process.
  3. Proof of address: A document that confirms where the person lives. Must include full name and residential address; cannot be older than 3 months dating back from the time of BTZO’s receipt. Examples include:
  4. Utility bills (electricity, water, gas)
  5. Bank statements
  6. Tax documents
  7. Rental agreements
  8. Official government correspondence

  1. Upload High-Quality Documents: Ensure that all images are clear, high-resolution, and not blurry.
  2. Ensure Accuracy: Double-check that the information you provide matches exactly with the details on your documents.
  3. Be Patient: The review process may take some time, but carefully following instructions can help you avoid delays.
  4. Stay Alert for Additional Requests: To meet customer due diligence requirements, we may occasionally request more information. Our team will contact you via an official BTZO email.
